SpankTheBookies Guest Tipsters
Each week, two of our social media followers will go head-to-head with a football treble. The rules are simple: the combined odds must be a minimum of 5/1 at the time of submitting selections. The winner stays on for the following week.
If this sounds like something you’d like to get involved in, get in touch and we’ll add you to the list.
Today we have Regan vs Daniel — good luck, lads.
Regan’s Treble
Bolton to win v Bradford (League One) KO 3pm
A big clash between 3rd and 4th in the league, Boltons home form is incredible this season been undefeated and leading the table at home. Bradfords away form isn’t in the best shape at the moment not winning away in 4. It will be a tight game but I fancy Bolton to edge it with the home advantage.
Leyton Orient to win v Blackpool (League One) KO 3pm
Similar theme to the last 2, solid home form as of late winning the last 5 in all comps, Blackpool sit bottom of the away form table winning just one and losing the rest, 3rd from bottom in the table and they’re a side who seem to be struggling a lot this season, orient joint top scorers in the league too which helps, I’m hoping they’ll keep momentum and have too much for the visiting strugglers.
Notts County to win v Colchester (League Two) KO 3pm
Again Notts county hold a solid home record so far this season, leading the table at home losing just one. They sit 4th in the league and winning today could see them 1st if other results go there way, you’ve got to go back as far as 2002 for the last time Colchester won here, losing 9 and drawing 2 since that. So I’m hoping the strong home form and history keeps on track to bring a Notts win.
“The treble pays 5.93/1 and I think Ive found 3 teams with good value and all with home advantage.”
Daniel’s Treble
Bournemouth to Score Over 1.5 Goals vs West Ham (Premier League) – KO 3pm
The international break came at the right time for Bournemouth after losing their last two against Aston Villa and Manchester City. Before that, however, they were scoring goals for fun — 10 in 4 games. Up against West Ham’s leaky defence, I expect Bournemouth to find the net a couple of times tomorrow.
Liverpool to Win vs Nottingham Forest (Premier League) – KO 3pm
This is a must-win game for Liverpool, and after the international break I expect them to get the job done.
Lamine Dabo to Score Anytime (Barnsley vs Luton – League One) – KO 3pm
Lamine Dabo is an attacking midfielder who plays in the No. 10 role. With Saville back from international duty, Dabo should have more freedom to get forward. He gets plenty of shots when operating in that role, and at 7/1 to score anytime, I think that’s huge value — especially with the “sub play on” rule. If Luton are chasing the game, I’d expect an attacker to replace him if needed.
